By Joseph Okurut.

Residents of Aarapo Parish in Labor Sub-county, Pingire County, Serere District have joined other communities across the county in throwing their support behind Phillip Oucor as their preferred candidate for Member of Parliament in the forthcoming general elections.

The endorsement was made during a massive rally held today in Aarapo, which attracted hundreds of residents who turned up not only to listen to Oucor’s message but also to openly demonstrate their support for his candidature.

Speaking to the media at the rally, Atipu John Boars, a resident of Aarapo Parish, said the people of Pingire County are determined to back Phillip Oucor because they believe he has the capacity to deliver. He emphasized that the county needs a leader who takes action rather than one who only makes promises.

“We have seen that it is only Oucor who can help us run Pingire County the way we want. He is a man of action and, above all, equal to the task,” Atipu said.

Phillip Oucor has gained widespread praise across Pingire County for his visionary and people-centered approach to leadership. Many residents credit him for initiating and supporting projects that have directly improved livelihoods in the area.

Among the key initiatives attributed to Oucor are the establishment of a mobile clinic that brings healthcare services closer to the people, the drilling of boreholes across the county to improve access to clean water, and several other community-focused interventions.

These efforts have significantly boosted confidence among the electorate in Pingire County, with many residents expressing hope that Oucor’s leadership would further accelerate development if elected to Parliament.

As the general elections draw closer, the growing public support seen in Aarapo and other parts of Pingire County signals an increasingly competitive political landscape in the race for the county’s parliamentary seat.
